The gym continues to produce athletes for the stage, we have had some excellent results this this year.
2012
Kelly Freeman is one week away from her final competition of the year. This year she had aimed to learn her craft and develop her stage presence. Through 10 shows she has worked hard at this and created a great base for the future. All her results have been good this year but the standout ones are European Champion, NPA Heavyweight British Champion and NABBA Universe 6th, amazing. The final competition is the UIBBN World Championships in Slovakia where she will represent Great Britian as part of the NPA British Team.
Jon and Kelly have been working hard for the past year to lay the basis of what will be one of the most amazing natural female physiques on the circuit - so far its paying off.
Rachael Hayes had a comeback year to die for this year. After nearly 3 years off competition Rachael took to the stage in New Jersey in the DFAC (Drug Free Athlete's Coalition) Pro Universe in the new Athletic class - we are really proud to report that she triumphed and was crowned the DFAC Pro Miss Universe for 2012.
Along with Jon Clark, Rachael travelled to Miami at the beginning of November for the inaugural DFAC World Finals. Against stiff competition Rachael brought home the World Crown and Jon took 4th in one of the best Pro Master's classes ever. It was Jon's pro debut and a brilliant result.

Also this year the gym has seen Russ Gayle compete in NABBA Central Britain and place third after not placing last year. More recently at NABBA UK he took second and on the 17th of November he takes to the stage at NABBA Novice Britain (hopefully moving up another place to 1st).
Additionally, Mick Green looked awesome taking to the stage again, Emma Dodds competed for the first time and showed poise and stage presence that will stand her in good stead as she develops her physique and competition experience. Chris Richards took to the BNBF stage in the Novice class, qualifying for the British Final he placed 5th (awesome in his first year). Merick also took to the stage at NABBA Central Britain presenting really well. Rob Colishaw took to the stage for the first time looking great in the first timers class at NABBA Central Britain.
The BNBF Club also supported numerous competitor who all did excellently. Emma Grzona qualified for the BNBF British Final placing really well, Chris Chapman, Nicky Rodgers, John Hodgson, Kevin Howe, Lee Peters and Sarah Kettle. Chris Chapman also competed in the UKDFBA and placed second. Gemma Masters competed in the UKBFF Bikini class and placed 6th with pzazz and glitz.
2011 BNBF

Our very own Jon Clark made a comeback after two years away from competition with his first venture into the world of the Master (over 40s). As an elder statesman of the sport he did the gym proud placing first in the British Natural Bodybuilding Federation (BNBF) 2011 Northern Championships and qualifying for the British Finals in September.
Steve Howarth finished 2nd in the Men's Heavyweights again with an invite to the British Finals. Steve is also competing NPA Mike Williams Classic this year and the NPA Final in October with a view to defend his British Title.

Kelly Rennie, in only her second year of competition again qualified for the British Finals placing 2nd in the BNBF Figure Class at the Northern Championships.
Other competitiors at the BNBF Northern Championships were; Phil Dean and Matt Ward (Novice), and Nicky Rodgers in the Figure Class - everyone did brilliantly and the support from the gym in the crowd was noticeable.
On the other side of the table was Rachael Hayes, BNBF Professional Bodybuilder and judge.
NPA
Earlier this year Kyle Hague competed in the NPA Yorkshire coming in much sharper than previously he finished 4th. Kyle will also be competing at the Mike Williams Classic.
NABBA
Mick Green came 2nd in first ever competition, he competed in the Over 50s at the NABBA Northeast held in Batley. Mick looked awesome and went on to finish just outside the placings at the British Finals.
Joining him on the same stage at Batley, but in the Tall Class was Mark Stacey, in a comeback year, Mark took 2nd place and looked excellent.
COMING UP
Team Evo has a number of members still to compete this year, Chris Chapman and Emma, Kelly Freeman, Gary Clark, Martin Roberts and Linda 'Looby' Taylor. As well as more competitions for some of those above.
